Angel, passed Friday November 17, 2006. In her youth she was a terror. Small in stature but a bully none the less! She always wanted to sleep curled up under my chin so that I would breath fur. Ara loved her because she tolerated her 'petting' and love. I miss her.

ReplyDeleteI understand how it feels to lose a loved one such as your beloved Angel. Some people don't comprehend that pets are just as much a part of the family as a child...
I lost my Gauchie earlier this year. I called in to work, I told them my cat had died in the night and that I wouldn't be coming in to work. It just broke my heart when I had to tell little Al. He passed on a Tuesday and I waited until Al came over Friday to tell him. I showed Al the spot on the side of the house where I laid him to rest. We talked for a while about funny/silly/crazy things Gauchie would do...
On Saturday we bought a stepping stone and lettering kit. We mixed the stuff up for the stepping stone and when it had settled enough we imprinted the outer edge with his name and dates.
We also bought two picture frames. We found some pictures of Gauchie and had them printed at Wal-Mart. Together we framed four pictures for Al to take home to his mom's. I framed another two for myself here.
Well, before I cry too much thinking about Gauchie... I just wanted you to know I understand how diff'cult it can be to lose a loved one such as your Angel...
