I don’t want to believe that this is the world we live in.
As we prepare to send Ara to school I am continually reminded that this is indeed the state of things. Mesh backpacks, metal detectors, elevated levels of awareness, and still it happens. Doesn’t it? Why?
I’m going to go tell my daughter than I love her.
